Driveway and sidewalk cleaning across the northern Front Range
Tire marks, deicer haze, oil drips and a full season of dust lifted evenly off your concrete with a surface cleaner, not a wand. Even results, no stripes, no etching.
Driveway surface cleaning, Boulder County
Your driveway is the first thing anyone sees. We make it look like you just poured it.
A driveway and the walks around it collect everything the Front Range throws at a house: road grime tracked in on tires, white haze from winter deicer, dust that bakes in under the sun, and the drips that every car eventually leaves behind. Over a few seasons the concrete goes from light gray to a patchy brown and nobody quite notices until the neighbor has theirs cleaned.
We clean it with a rotary surface cleaner that spreads water pressure evenly across the slab, so the whole driveway comes up the same shade. A wand alone leaves zebra stripes and can etch the surface. Stains that need more than pressure get a targeted treatment first, and if you want the clean look to last we can seal it while we are there.
What we clean off driveways and sidewalks
- Tire marks and road grime at the garage apron and turn in
- White haze, scaling and salt residue from magnesium chloride deicer
- Oil, transmission and coolant drips from parked vehicles
- Rust rings from sprinkler heads, patio furniture and fertilizer
- Leaf, pine needle and tree sap stains
- Dirt and mud buildup along sidewalks, steps and curb lines
- Dark growth in shaded, north facing walks that never dry out
Stamped, colored and exposed aggregate driveways get lower pressure and a wider pattern so the finish stays put. If a slab has an old sealer that is peeling, we will show you before we start rather than surprise you after.
What a driveway and sidewalk cleaning includes
Every job follows the same steps so the result is predictable, whether it is a two car driveway in Longmont or a block of storefront sidewalk in Golden.
- Surface check firstWe identify the finish, any existing sealer and the stains that need their own treatment before any water hits the slab.
- Stain pretreatmentOil, rust and organic stains are treated with the right product for that stain, not a stronger blast of water.
- Rotary surface cleaningA surface cleaner lifts dirt evenly across the whole slab for a uniform finish with no wand stripes.
- Edges, joints and apronsExpansion joints, edges, steps and the curb apron get rinsed clean so the job looks finished, not framed.
- Wash water handled rightRunoff is contained and reclaimed where required, including every job inside the City of Boulder.
- Honest sealing adviceWe tell you whether the concrete would benefit from a sealer and leave it at that. No pressure either way.
Why Front Range driveways get dirty faster than most
Colorado is hard on concrete. Our dry air means dust instead of mildew, our winters mean magnesium chloride on every road from Fort Collins to Littleton, and our 300 days of sun bake all of it into the surface. Then the freeze and thaw cycle goes to work on anything that has soaked in.
A yearly cleaning, ideally in spring once the deicer season is over, does more for the life of a driveway than almost anything else short of replacing it.
- Deicer residueMagnesium chloride tracks in from the roads, leaves a white film and accelerates surface scaling if it sits on the concrete all winter.
- Freeze and thawDirt and stains hold moisture. When that moisture freezes it pops the surface, which is where pitting starts.
- Dust and UVDry, windy weather coats everything in fine dust, and high altitude sun bakes it in. It does not rinse off in the rain the way it would elsewhere.

Rinse, inspect, advise

Driveway cleaning questions
The things people ask before they book. If yours is not here, text us a photo and ask.
Most residential driveways and walks are finished in a couple of hours, and you can walk on the concrete as soon as we leave. If we are sealing afterward, plan on keeping vehicles off for a day or more depending on the product and the weather.
Fresh drips usually lift during cleaning. Older stains that have soaked in get a dedicated oil treatment, and we tell you up front if a faint shadow may remain. Our oil and rust stain removal page covers how that works.
Once a year is right for most homes on the Front Range, ideally in spring after the deicer season. Driveways under heavy tree cover or with a lot of traffic sometimes want a second cleaning in the fall.
Yes. We lower the pressure, widen the pattern and skip harsh chemistry so the color and texture stay put. If the slab has a failing sealer, we show you before we start.
Move vehicles off the driveway, close windows near the work area and pick up anything loose like planters or mats. We handle the rest.
